Vertical Mixer

These machines are offered in one model only. A ½ ton capacity per mix. A vertical mixer is very easy to operate. It consists of a central flighting which pulls the product that is to be mixed to the top of the mixer where it falls back down to the bottom of the tank – circulating it as a fountain until fully mixed. A mixing cycle takes approximately 10 Minutes, once the mix is complete you start to bag of while running the mixer. A vertical mixer can only handle free flowing products such as a poultry mix and with very low and finely ground fibre and molasses content not exceeding 5-7%. The mix must also be below 17 % moisture content. The mixer may be fed via an auger into the top, ( Bulk Ingredient ) or into the discharge bin at the bottom. This is a very economical bin ideal for smaller farmers and if followed by a pellet mill, perfectly suited for poultry feed, hog feed, dairy meal, phosphate / salt licks, ruminant concentrate meal and pellets etc. but with low and fine fibre.
